We agreed to purchase our used 2018 Tiffin on Friday, came back on Tuesday to make the final deal and pick it up from Marvin Ingram RV Center in Montgomery. Our neighbor friends decided to take their RV and give us our first experience of “boon docking”. We traveled down on Monday evening and parked in the parking lot of Bass Pro Shops in Montgomery. That was fun. Made the deal and we got to drive for the first time an RV. Our friends joined us for lunch at Sweet Creek restaurant. Another wonderful place to eat. They served BBQ and other delicious items. And the largest and best homemade cookies you could ever eat. We pulled into our driveway that evening, and it just fit. Have to hit Larry up for a separate paved parking area for our RV. Another fun day with our RV.
Looking for a RV…
During the summer months of 2019, we shopped and did our research on RV Motorhomes. We asked various neighbors about their RVs, and looked at many websites and comments about the pros and cons of having an RV. We looked at some around the Birmingham area and then decided to go to Marlin Ingram RV Center in Montgomery, Alabama with a couple friends (that owned a really nice RV). The Ingram Family was a wonderful group of folks with no pressure and lots of good information. We went there with one RV in mind, and wound up with another one they showed us that we just fell in love with. We ate lunch at Sommers Place to talk it over. A wonderful restaurant with some of the best country style food you can eat. A must place to stop if in the area! We agreed to purchase our first RV, a used 2018 Tiffin Allegro Open Road 36LA. Our adventures begin…
